Struggling with how to help someone with drug addiction, alcohol abuse, or other addictive behaviors? Helping a loved one struggling with alcoholism or drug dependence can be heartbreakingly painful as well as isolating. This non 12-step support group will be exchanging experiences and ideas as a means to provide resources, suggestions and ideas that can help those struggling to support the recovery journey of a close relative or friend. At times, it can seem so overwhelming that it would be easier to ignore it, pretend that nothing is wrong and hope it just goes away. But in the long run, denying or minimizing it will be more damaging to you, other family members and the person you are concerned about. Sign up for future gathering(s) by email firstname.lastname@example.org or text (412) 853-3189.
